Drone Crash, Castle Tour, Thunderstorm!

I hope you agree, but I think this is the most exciting video I've made yet. Every time I sit down, I can feel more creative juices flowing, and I really hope it helps bring you into the moment.

Now join us as we arrive in Saint Augustine, Florida where we tour the Castillo de San Marcos, a fort that has stood the test of time for centuries. It is the oldest masonry fort still in existence in the United States, made almost entirely from the sea. The Spanish used coquina, a natural limestone of compressed seashells and lime they created from burning oysters.

Unfortunately I lost the drone that we used during the last video and it was my fault (even though I 80% blame the obstacle avoidance for making me try to land on the bow of the boat). If I could've turned off the obstacle avoidance, I could have flown the drone directly up to the stern and just grabbed it out of the air like most other Youtube sailors do. Oh well, when I get the next drone, I'll make sure it works for what I want to do! I might even splurge for a waterproof drone! 😮

To close out this chapter, I filmed a lightning storm in slow motion using the DJI Action 5 Pro and it blew my mind! Watch as the lightning reaches and branches out to find its target then repeatedly strikes without remorse.
